My areas of special interest include personal development and identity and this extends into all areas of my work including individual's issues, relationship issues and couples work.

My experience as an integrative counsellor has been enriched by my background in both the financial services industry and the voluntary sector. This has given me insight into the challenges we face of balancing all aspects of our lives, both personal and professional, and of building and maintaining healthy relationships.

This life experience has been invaluable in my work as a counsellor during my time working within diverse charitable organisations such as ASCA (Addiction Support and Care Agency) and Sutton Women’s Centre to working within the NHS Putneymead Group Medical Practice and in private practice.

I use an integrative approach combining different types of therapies to suit your needs. Every client is different and therefore I draw on psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavioural therapies together with mindfulness techniques to work with you in an open and collaborative relationship. For couples, I draw on the emotionally focused therapy model (EFT) whose aim is to promote secure and successful relationships between partners.


Qualifications: BA (Hons), Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, Certificates in working with Depression, Anger management, Motivational Interviewing Training, Life Coaching, Mindfulness practice, Externship plus core skills training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Couples Dynamics.

Membership: British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, MBACP(Accred), International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT), British Emotionally Focused Therapy Centre (BEFT).
