Individual and Couple Therapy

Throughout our lives there can be times when we feel overwhelmed and wonder how we got to this place. My overall aim is to provide you with a warm, supportive, non-judgemental environment where you can connect with your deeper feelings, making sense and working through them, whilst not being alone.

Most often clients want my help with problems that are causing stress and anxiety. These can often be severe and ongoing, causing mixed and uncomfortable feelings including generalized anxiety, panic, anger, frustration, as well as depression and despair.

Here at SR Counselling I draw on different therapeutic approaches to suit you. You may choose CBT as a more immediate approach to change unhelpful thinking and behaviours. Or you may choose Psychotherapy to create long term change for deep rooted problems from your past.

During the initial session we explore your reasons for seeking counselling, what you would like to gain from the sessions and how we can work together. We can work on either a short term or an open ended basis. After the initial session I can offer counselling via video call if required.
